What amazed me the most about this resort were the activities and the beaches! There seemed to be a little bit of everything for everyone at every corner. And who doesn’t want to entertain their guests and make sure they’re ahving a great time before and after your big event? Hyatt Ziva Cancun has something going on for guests young & old, including:

TIP: Make sure to visit the microbrewery sports bar for handcrafted beers and wings—perfect for a pre or post wedding celebration! I know my New England family would appreciate this one night, watching a big game, and getting to see everyone.

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun is perfect for guests of all ages. It includes a kids' club, a small water park for children, and a lounge for teens. Not many all inclusives have options for only teens so this is great for families who have all age ranges.

Ziva also has an Adult-Only section called the Turquoize section—an exclusive adults-only enclave for ages 18+. The Turquoize also includes an adult-only restaurant as well. This allows you or any of your guests who prefer not to be around children a more adult-only experience, which can be important for the couples who don’t have kids and want more of a serene atmoshpere.

CLOSE TO CANCUN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a quick 25-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport. This is a BIG DEAL because many of your guests may only be staying for a short 3-4 days, and the last thing you want is for them to be stuck on an hour or two-hour transfer to the hotel when every minute counts. Don’t forget that when you use a travel agent, like myself, I will organize all airport transfers for your guests. No hassels - they’ll be waiting outside the airport, ready to whisk them away to your wedding and get the party started.

My favorite dining option at Hyatt Ziva Cancun - Habaneros! Mouthwatering tacos, fresh seafood ceviches, and zesty aguachiles are served right on the beach, where you can enjoy your meal and sweeping Caribbean views.

PLENTY OF DINING OPTIONS

Food is the way to my heart [I bet a lof can relate] - and it’s also a super important aspect of the wedding! The Hyatt Ziva Cancun has extensive dining options for both you and all of your guests, with seven all-inclusive restaurants serving Italian, French, Asian, Wood-Fired pizza, burgers/fries/shakes, and more. I loved the old fashion car at Chevys! Fun and tasty food carts roam around the beach and pool areas throughout the day, serving tacos, burgers, fresh fruit, and crepes. My favorite food cart was definitely the churro cart!!! But there is also a Microbrewery sports bar with hand-crafted beer and wings. BUT hold up - do you have a sweet tooth? There is a sweet shop with tons of desserts, candies, and ice cream - the kids go wild for unlimited goodies. They also have a lovely coffee and pastry house!

AN AMAZING SPA TO RELAX AND REJUVENATE:

Hyatt Ziva Cancun offers a luxurious spa with 14 treatment rooms and six beachfront palapas. Take advantage of their soothing hydrotherapy circuit facing the sea, or refresh your look at our beauty salon. Let’s face it, who doesn’t want a little spa pampering, especially on a wedcation? The salon will also offer bridal party packages for hair and makeup to prepare for your wedding day! PRO TIP: Take advantage of the 15% spa discount for pre-wedding pampering.

PLENTY OF EXCELLENT ROOM OPTIONS:

Hyatt Ziva Cancun offers a large inventory of luxury suites with contemporary Caribbean decor, beautiful furnishings, picturesque ocean views, spa-like bathrooms with rainfall showers, turndown service, high-tech entertainment, and an in-room beverage center that contains soft drinks and premium beer. As mentioned, the Turquoize adult-only section is also where you will never have to worry about kids being around you. The bottom line is that there are plenty of room choices for your wedding group. Because of the location of Hyatt Ziva Cancun on the beach, they have a lot of access to ocean views.

PRO TIP: I usually set up a block of rooms for my wedding groups that hold a majority of entry-level rooms, with the option for the guests to upgrade if they are looking for a more pampering or luxurious room experience. It’s important to reserve the rooms beforehand so that you can ensure availability for everyone you are inviting to your destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. again, working with a travel agent makes room blocks so MUCH easier for your guests and less stress on yourself.
